what are some action video games with a playable female character?
I want games for PS3. They can also be multiplayer online or offline.
I am always looking for good games that have playable female leads. The games I currently know of are as follows: Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Awakening (Origin’s Expansion Pack) Dragon Age II (Coming Out March 2011, in case you try Dragon Age and like it 
), Bayonetta, Lara Croft (Any Edition) and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Though I have not yet played The Elder Scrolls, it has garnered outstanding reviews as being the best in fantasy open-world gaming. Bayonetta had an interesting trailer. On a side note, I would definitely recommend giving Dragon Age a chance, especially if you like Sword and Magic Fantasy games.
Aside from the previously listed, I know Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has an online multiplayer portion in which the player can assume the role of female character (Courtesan, though I’ve heard rumor of additional DLC Female Assassins).
