Avchd Camcorder
Import AVCHD (Vegas 9.0)?
Hello! I have a camcorder (Panasonic HDC-DX1) and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0, and I’m trying to import my videos to PC.
But when I try to import in Vegas (Project -> Import AVCHD Camcorder), says “no disc available”.
When I open “My Computer” and try to access the drive of the camcorder, the following error message: “Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows.”
Someone can tell me what is wrong?

hi , friend, i am niki, i have the same problem as you before, avchd , m2ts,mts, video from panasonic can not be import to vegas,,,, it is not compatible,,,,sony vegas like MPG, MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI etc, you can decode avchd or convert avchd to other common formats , i have try to decode, but i failed, it is too complex to me, i know little about pc, so i plan to buy a expert video converter , this may help me save more time, and get best quality, i have choose a one, you can have a look, free trail is allowed, it is good, i think, can convert avchd, other common formats videc versa,,,,,,good luck ,hope it help:http://www.iorgsoft.com/article/avchd/Import-avchd-mts-into-sony-vegas/
