Which good sports camera to buy?
Hey,
I’m loking for a good little SLR cam that would be good for sports photography. I was looking at the Canon 50D because it has 6.3 fps and it doesnt cost heaps. but as i was looking closely i saw that it said ideal for portraits….
Which camera to buy? Should i stick?
I do like high fps
Also if you happen to live in Sydney could you tell me where to buy it.

The 50D is a very good choice for sports photography, or portraits or any other sort of photography, but what’s also VERY important…is the lens you are using. For sports (indoor and outdoor) you will need a fast lens.
The 50D (body only) will cost you around $1600, and for a decent sports lens add-on another one to two grand minimum (best aussie online prices).
