My aiptek DZO-V5O camcorder won’t turn on. Help?

I was looking for my camcorder that was lost for 2 months+ and i found it, when i plugged it into my computer through the USB port the little green LED light came on and stayed on. When i unplugged it and tried to turn it on the little green light started blinking and the LCD screen wouldnt come on. What should i do?

Leave it plugged in for 8 hours. Let it charge (even if the green light is on). Then see if the cam works properly. If not, remove the battery and then put in back in and try to power it on. If it still won’t power up, try a reset. Press and hold the power ‘on’ button for 15 seconds. Hopefully the cam will start up. If not, let it sit for 15 seconds and try it again. If the cam has a re-set hole (maybe under it) use a paper clip and press it into the hold and hold it until the cam powers up. If none of this works, the internal battery pack may be beyond dead and needs to be replaced.
