I have to concede that, while I was basically clueless on getting this little device ready to go, my young nephew [14] experienced the watch/video/etc. functioning at full capacity in only a couple of minutes.
It’s really any hoot, lots of fun regarding kids who remain wholly engrossed by it…a really nice gift if your thinking about something electronic.
This Secret Mission Video Watch does many things for any young spy want-a-bees. Obviously it tells the time. In fact it does a terrific job of it using its colorful high res screen. It has a halt watch function, alarm, plus it’s a built in video camera with sound record. There is enough memory for THIRTY minutes of recording time period. Did I mention games? Yes, games that can also be downloaded from their webpage.
The watch charges using a computer usb port. It also allows copy of photos and video by using the usb.
This Spy Net Video Watch will give you hours of fun and also adventure. Highly recommend!
That is the great little gadget pertaining to kids between 8 – 12. You can have video, time lapse images, still pictures, audio….and do it using the spy mode (so no one can see that you are usually recording. ) It can be utilized as a regular observe, alarm clock, and cease watch…plus there are games to learn too. The video quality is surprisingly good for this type of small camera, but the audio is usually so-so unless you are towards the mic. The packaging encourages kids to be line for more game titles; I did not explore this option.
I merely got around 13 minutes of straight video (the the labels says 20 minutes), yet that’s okay. The guidelines and key functions tend to be easy enough to follow, but don’t get this for a child under 8 unless you plan on being the solution guy/gal…”Can you play the video? ” “Put the item on record! ” “Where is the games? ” The onscreen commands can be a little small and difficult to read in case you are under 8 or around 45.
Kids need to be reminded that is a tech toy; tech toys shouldn’t find banged around too much if you want them to last. The video watch will be charged via your USB port on your hard drive with a little adapter that can be purchased in the package…NO CABLES…other than those around the tester battery which you need to discard. The wrist band is durable, and the design helps keep the watch in place instead of riding about the wrist.
While I don’t have any difficulty taking a look at the video on my personal PC, I did experience problem in saving the video on my hard disk…which only means in which I’m not tech savvy – you might have better luck. If you’re like me, get utilized to the reset button about the back! The only drawback to reset is you have to keep putting in that date and time, that takes under 30 moments. Reset does not remove video!
Once kids find the hang of it (recording and uploading), be prepared to view some funny videos, candid shots, and great audio. I can see these individuals attaching the watch towards family dog or kitten (on their collars : NOT WITH TAPE!!!) to have some really cool critter cam pics.
All in most, the Spy Net is a great toy, especially if you add a number of the accessories advertized (like the camera over a wire for looking close to corners. ).
