Clock Security

I just bought a 93 deville, the radio does not work, but the clock works.The battery has been replaced.?
I do not have a security code. Do I need a code on this model, it is not the bose system. How do I clear and start over. Thanks!
If the clock in the radio works, you have power. That means the problem is most likely IN the radio. The CAR does not require a security code, but the RADIO you have may. If it does, and you don’t know the code, the radio is NOT salvageable. There is NO WAY to retrieve the code.
