Why does the Navy have blue digital camo? Seriously, what are they hiding from?
Do they plan on floating in their uniforms and pretending to be water for an attack? Or, do they plan on pretending to be an oasis in the desert?
The new Navy working uniform was a way to intergrate our standard uniforms and conform to the rest of the military branches. The reason they are blue pattern is because these are not meant to be combat going uniforms, only work uniforms. We still have jungle and desert print uniforms, including the newest navy digital patterns for both style coming out for security and special forces units. The standard NWU is literally designed with the idea that our normal work routines onboard ship such as painting will not show as much as they did on our Utilities/Dungarees.
