Flip Mini Ultra HD or MinoHD (the new ones, 3rd gen)?
I am looking at purchasing my first digital camcorder and I narrowed it down to the 8GB UltraHD or the 4GB Mino…I was hoping that some of you would have some tips as to reasons why I should or shouldn’t buy each one. I’ve looked at the specs online and watched a bunch of reviews, but I am still stumped.
I will be using this to make random videos for youtube and things like that…so if that factors in there you have it. Thanks for anything!
I received a Flip UltraHD as a gift and it does take good video, it’s easy to use, and it’s nice to have a pocket-sized camcorder at times. But if I had a choice, I would vie for a Kodak Zi8 instead:
128GB of internal memory and can use memory cards (Flips: 4 or 8GB and can not use cards)
Can take 5.3MP still images (Flips can not)
Has an external microphone input port (Flips do not)
Charges using an A/C power adapter (Flips must use a USB source)
