Fisheye Lens
What does the .25x mean when in terms of the size of a fisheye lens?

So I was looking for a fisheye lens on ebay and found that each lens had a different .(number)x .Does a bigger number mean a bigger lens or the other way around or does it not matter much.

I take it this is a screw on fisheye adaptor ? If so the way I understand it its crop factor for the view you get when you put it on your other lens. So a 50 mm lens with a 0.25 fisheye adaptor would give you the field of view of 12.5 mm fisheye lens ( 50 X 0.25 = 12.5 ). A 0.5X on the 50 mm lens would give you the effect of a 25 mm lens

Created by Loren Bouchard and Brendon Small (who provides the autobiographical voice of the show’s 8-ye…
