Flash Memory?
I bought an mp4 and the manufactur says its 8G. But on the Instruction Booklet it says Flash Memory: 128M-256M.
Does that mean the mp4 is not 8G?
Or does it mean something else?

Model number?
It could be an 8 G player with the ability to accept extra flash, but only 128M or 256 M.
I am sure when you try to put songs you will figure out quite fast how much space you have..
