How do you use the remote key on a MINI to lock the doors and close the windows?
I have just purchased a MINI, and i can open the car doors with the remote key and open the windows – but not the other way round! The salesman did it in the showroom, so i know its possible! I thought it’d be easy to do, so i didnt ask him how!
You can roll the windows down with the remote but you cannot roll them up. It is a safety thing. You can put the key in the door lock and turn it to roll them up. They do it so that you have to be with the car rolling up the windows so you do not trap something in the window.
