Whats the best way to shoot outdoor video at night?
my camera is a SONY HDR-TG1
You did not mention your budget or the length of raw footage you will be recording. I Googled the battery and found that Sony does not make a light for the same batt as the videocamera. Does this device have a tripod mount on bottom? If so, I would recommend the Sony HVL-20DW2, Sony NPF970 w/charger and an “L” shaped bracket with accessory shoe. The videocamera could be mounted on one end of the bracket and the light mounted on the other end. This light gives you the option of choosing either 10w/20w depending on the length of shoot. This light provides adequate lighting within its limitations. Good Luck!
