question about sony digital handycam?
I’m using the red, yellow ,and white cables but when i plug it in my computer doesnt recgonize it, can someone tell me whats wrong and if you know what to do then tell me the process
The best way to connect the camera is using a firewire cable, if your computer has a firewire port. It will probably be labeled as DV on the camcorder. The next best is a USB cable. If you want to use the red, yellow, and white cables, you will need a capture device such as made by Pinnacle or Dazzle. You can then plug the three cables into the device and the device into the computer via a USB cable. Note that quality is much better with a USB or firewire connection directly.
