How do I safely repair my AOpen F2705 17′ TFT-LCD Monitor?
I was upset and punched my LCD monitor. The power button refuses to work now, and the red ‘standby’ light is not illuminated either…is there a possible fix, and if so – what is the best way to go about safely operating inside an LCD monitor?
if you get that upset, you’ll probably get really upset trying to fix something like this, (especially coz you created the problem) I’ve been repairing electronics for more than 14 years now and the first thing to remember is Patients, the second thing, is you have to be very careful coz it seems that everything is somewhat booby-trapped to break even worse (coz they don’t want things repaired) as far as any thing else goes, the 120 volts coming in from the wall outlet is practically the only harmful voltage.
