This Tv I have has a set of audio output RCA jacks(red/white) for you to connect the TV to a stereo Amp.I use this jacks to connect to an infrared transmitter for a pair of wireless headphones.Could I also use the same jacks to connect an amplifier to the TV while it’s connected to the infraed transmitter? Would this overload the TV’s ‘preamp’?
Oddly,this TV has another set of output jacks(RCA),RED/WHITE/YELLOW for you to connect the TV to a video recorder.When I tried to use the audio jacks to power the infrared trnsmitter it did not work(as if all 3 connections must be made).I hope you understand my question.tks
Your better off not using the same jacks, I have a similar bravia, it should have an optical audio out, most A/V receivers (amps) have an optical input, I would use that.
