i purchased this camera as a backup for my d700. I utilize a d300 for backup nevertheless it now has around 170, 000 shots around the shutter so I’m somewhat afraid to trust it considerably longer. I purchased a D7000 in the area (body only). I have an HD Camcorder, so my only use for any D7000 is taking pictures. And wow, all i could say is that you will need amazing pictures. I’ve tried the digital camera in different indoor lighting settings and i will say that camera’s automotive white balance settings features produced beautiful and accurate colors every time. I haven’t had to utilize my Expodisc once up to now. The metering system for the camera is the best while in the DSLR world currently. I always shoot around manual, but so far with the D7000 – i’ve squeeze camera on Auto as well as on Aperture Priority as well as the pictures have been outside of this world. Instead of getting to play around along with settings, you can let the camera do the effort and focus on your current composition.
