Use a wireless router as a wireless transceiver?
I am getting DirecTV HD DVR service soon, and want to connect my DVR to ethernet. I have 2 wireless routers, one in use and one just lying around. Is there some way to make the one wireless router plug into the DVR and then wirelessly connect to the existing wireless router and connect to the internet. I may be confusing this, but is this called a bridge?
Yes it is called bridge and the only thing that you need to find out is if these wireless router have the bridge mode capability. If the do, the only configuration you need to set is tu put each router’s MAC address into each other.
