Problem with Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000′s scroll wheel?
I got the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 for Christmas, which comes with a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 v2.0 and the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000. For awhile now It was working fine until the scroll wheel just stopped working.
I can move the cursor, click on stuff, scroll left and right, but It wont scroll scroll up or down. It’s annoying when I’m on the internet, but very trouble some when I play games like World of Warcraft since the scroll wheel adjusts to camera’s distance from the character. I dont see anyway Into the mouse without breaking It, so I cant check If there’s anything stuck Inside It. The keyboard seems to work fine, though.
What’s wrong my mouse and how can It be fixed?
Return it as defective and get another one.
